Windows 10 Creators Update on my first install of Vorpx Defender reports:

    File name: C:\Program Files (x86)\Animation Labs\vorpX\vorpcontrol64.dat

    Virus name: win32/Fuery.B!cl

    It moved it into quarantine.

How do I verify if this is safe?

No issue here with the latest Defender definitions (1.245.1013.0).

    Apart from that:

Unless you have catched a virus elesewhere, this is a false positive

vorpX “injects” other programs which some av programs may classify as malicious behaviour without really being sure about it.

You should report this as a false positive to your av vendor so they can fix the issue.

In the meantime please exclude the vorpX program folder from scanning.

Sorry for the inconvenience. This is as annoying for us as it is for you.
