Never tried that particular version, just the normal Steam version. But I doubt that’s the problem. If you want to invest a little bit of time into this for additional testing, please write me a mail to support |at| vorpx com .
RalfKeymasterOK, thanks for reporting this. Haven’t experienced it myself so far, but I’ll try to replicate it. The double click invokes the same program routine as choosing the option from the menu does. But there’s always a chance of odd and/or stupid bugs, of course. :)
Edit: You only have to click once to open the config app. Double click does indeed minimize the program every now and then, a single click works fine though.
RalfKeymasterThat should work just fine. Sometimes it can take a few seconds until the config app shows up, especially when trying for the first time after booting Windows. Maybe that was the case when you tried it.
Could you try again with that in mind, and report back, in case it still doesn’t work? Thanks in advance!
RalfKeymasterHi Mikau,
Yes, you just have to set the Head Tracking Sensibiltity to 0. Hit [DEL] to open the in-game menu, go to the Input page, then lower ‘HT Sensitivity’ until it shows 0.0. This disables the game head tracking, but leaves EdgePeek enabled.
Hope that helps.
RalfKeymasterHi,
There shouldn’t be much you have to do besides starting vorpX Control. If it runs it displays a tray icon in your task bar. By right clicking it you get a context menu that, among other things, has a “Show help” entry, which currently displays a quickstart guide. That should contain the most important things you want to know.
You also might want to take a look at the “How to Get the Most Out of vorpX?” sticky above, and the trouble shooting sticky, in case you have a problem.
Hope that helps.
RalfKeymasterAn in-game crash in Portal 2 never was reproducible here unfortunately. Neither with the first release version nor with the latest.
RalfKeymasterHi anaussie,
That’s a known issue with BF3/4 (or the Frostbite engine in general, to be precise). Unfortunately fixing it requires some larger changes, but it will be addressed in one of the next updates.
RalfKeymasterYou can use your original installer to update to the latest version, which should solve the issue. If you didn’t save the installer, please send a mail to support |at| vorpx com to get a new download link.
Hope that helps.
RalfKeymasterHi Geffel,
You can either use the download link that you got originally, or send a mail to support |at| vorpx com, in case you haven’t saved the e-mail.
Hope that helps.
Dec 1, 2013 at 4:38pm in reply to: I bought it, how long do you normally have to wait for code? #11735RalfKeymasterThen you might have entered a wrong e-mail address in the order form. Also please check your spam folder. You should have received two automatic mails and a reminder after a day or so.
Please write to support |at| vorpx com with the name you used for the purchase and ideally your Order-ID, so that this can be sorted out. We cannot solve this on the public forum unfortunately.

please take a look at the e-mail(s) you got. They have a link to an installer and tell you what to do to get your key after you installed vorpX, which usually shouldn’t take very long.
If you have further questions, please write a mail to support |at| vorpx com.
Hope this helps.
RalfKeymasterHi Mike,
That’s just a safety margin. You should have received your key by now.
Sorry for the inconvenience.RalfKeymasterHi Jean-Pierre,
DirectX7 might be added later, but there is no schedule for this currently that I could share.
RalfKeymaster@ l1nc : One of the next updates will allow to remap EdgePeek to antoher key, in case you want to use the MMB for FalloutNVs normal functionality.
@ ScarletSpirit : It should work under normal circumstances. If you have any mods installed, you could try with a clean istall and see whether that helps. Especially using the Fallout Script Extender (FOSE) might cause any number of strange issues.
RalfKeymasterHi vesper8,
Currently vorpX only works on the Oculus Rift. Support for other HMDs might be added at a later point in time, but I do not have any schedule I can share in this regard.
Hope that answers your question.
