LazloTheGreatParticipantSame problem here. I’ve been trying to boot up Bioshock Inf. (pretty much, the main reason I bought vorpX). Game plays fine without vorpX enabled. And Rift has worked fine on my machine. But when I turn vorpX on, it crashes Bioshock right after playing some of the opening title sequences. Every. Single. Time.
What a bummer. Here are my machine specs:
Processor
4th Generation Intel Core i7-4770s processor (8M Cache, up to 3.9 GHz)
Operating System
Windows 8 Pro, 64-bit, English
Display
27 inch LED Backlit Touch Display with IPS/Anti Glare and Adobe RGB QHD resolution (2560 X 1440)
Memory
16GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz – 2 DIMMs
Hard Drive
2TB 7200 rpm SATA 6Gb/s Hard Drive + 32GB mSATA Solid State DriveBP
Video Card
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2GB DDR5 with TPM V1.2Oct 2, 2013 at 12:52am #10637In reply to: Nothing works for me…
ibminarikParticipantI’m having an issue with Bioshock Infinite where VorpX itself keeps crashing. I get about 45 seconds of flawless headtracking (though with some strange warping that I imagine will be fixed with some tweaking) and stereoscopy, then VorpX crashes and the game runs in 2D.
Skyrim, on the other hand, works great for about two minutes, then the the screen freezes with ugly tearing artifacts, but the audio indicates the game is still running in the background. It’s a damn shame, too, since after getting a taste of Edge Peek I can’t go back to using tridef for Skyrim.
Don’t know whether it’s worth mentioning, but when I first installed VorpX, it caused all my games to crash to desktop, but a restart fixed that. Has anyone encountered similar problems, and if so, have you found any solutions?
Here’s my specs
Windows 7
AMD FX-8350
GTX 670
Kingston 250GB SSD (The game and driver are both stored here)

ZarkovParticipantI’m not having any of the issues that you mentioned. I’ve tried Bioshock infinite and Far cry 3 with no issues. Also skyrim and fallout 3. I haven’t tried Mirrors edge jet, but I’m installing it now.
My system specs are sorta similar. I7, GTX580 (320.49), win7 64 bit.
However as I’ve only recently got my Oculus I’ve never bothered to install Vireio or similar software. Is there a possibility that Vireio is somehow inhibiting the performance of the VorpX drivers?Jun 9, 2013 at 5:19am #1786In reply to: vorpX – Pre-Release Thread
t3foundationParticipantThis is probably the most anticipated piece of software for me in the next few months. I’m really looking forward to replaying portal 1/2, bioshock infinite and skyrim on it. I actually re-bought skyrim on steam (had in on xbox 360) just because of this driver and the omni. There are probably a handful of gamers such as myself that would pay a premium for early access to the driver :)

AnonymousInactiveThe lack of 3d vision support on games like Bioshock Infinite and Assassins Creed 3 has been very disheartening. Looking forward to playing Bioshock Infinite using VorpX. I just can’t even install it until I get my Rift. 2d sucks. What’s worse? It seems like the developers are giving console users 3d more on these games than the PC users. Damn you forced DirectX 11!
