I managed to get the remaster working by renaming the exe to Bioshockr.exe. I then duplicated the profile for Bioshock Infinite and added Bioshockr.exe to it. Only Z-Normal and Z-Adaptive 3D work though (Geometry 3D crashes).
Honestly, play the original. I can barely see any differences in the remastered version and many players have reported that the remaster has some bugs that were fixed in patches for the original.
