ParticipantAh great. This worked. I went into Bioshock’s XUserOptions config file and increased the MaxUserFOVOffsetPercent, and then tweaked Vorpx and and in game fov setting. I’ll need to tweak more to make it look better, but it’s looking pretty good already. A bit painful on the eyes still, but I think I can play with it more and find the best settings. Thanks!

ParticipantI did try loading the game from different locations, but no luck.

ParticipantWell, I went in and tried everything I could on the Nvidia side, but no luck. AA and all filtering off. Nada.

ParticipantRight on. I’ll give it a try this weekend.
Thanks.

ParticipantCool.
But, to be very clear it’s not simply G3D that isn’t working, it’s any 3D at all. I realize this is all beta and a work in progress, of course, and can wait patiently, but all indications are that Bioshock Infinite for Windows 8.1 64bit is broken. I think this should be clearly stated somewhere on this site.

ParticipantBump on this…
Is anyone playing this game? Windows 8 or otherwise? 64 or 32 bit?
jknick
ParticipantWell, that’s good to hear. Unfortunately downgrading is not an option for me. It’s all good. We live in the land of beta.
Is there a proper place to be reporting bugs? Maybe the developers are watching these forums?

ParticipantI’d also point out that other games that worked previously on the same machine with Windows 7 32bit, such as Fallout, are still working fine on Windows 8.1 64bit. So it’s apparently something specific to Bioshock Infinite.

ParticipantAlso for the record, I’m running the Steam version of Bioshock Inifinite. I still haven’t found a solution to this issue and have pretty much exhausted ideas.
