Now ARK runs a lot better than a year ago, with a GTX980 I can easily achieve 80-90fps in full-hd lowering some settings a bit. Maybe with a 1080ti and the help of asynchronous reprojection should be playable.
Native VR Support is still present, but Oculus only, I think
