In that case since i failed so hard, I wonder if the error help dialog box could be tweaked a tad? Maybe instead of: “Switching vorpX to SteamVR mode may help in some cases” It could be like: “Switching vorpX to SteamVR mode (vorpX Config > General > Device Selection > SteamVR) may help in some cases”
