Fallout 4 seems to be okay now without running Vorpx. The hud is back in position and I can properly move the cursor about. The only problem is that it’s still broken if I run Vorpx.
Pleae check whether you maybe added something to the game’s launch parameters in Steam manually. If you can’t change the resolution in the game’s options, you are likely starting it with manually modified start parameters.
Nothing I could see has been changed in Steam. Is there a file I could simply delete in steamapp/common? I’d tried deleting .ini files in My Documents with both games, that doesn’t make a bit of difference.
You can restore any changes that the vorpX Game Optimizer did by selecting the optimizer entry for the game and then clicking the “Restore Backup” button.
Thanks for your post. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to work. Every time I boot up GTA5 the screen the squashed down half the screen.
