Skyrim crashes randomly on Oculus

I have setup Skyrim using the built in profile and have tried tweaking all of the settings to no avail.

I can generally play for about 30 minutes or so and then the game will freeze in headset but still be playable on the normal monitor. Some times it will just flat out freeze up both in headset and normal monitor. There doesn’t seem to be any trigger specifically. I have 0 mods installed. When it crashes, I have to do a full reboot. Closing Vorpx, Oculus and Steam won’t work.

This happened when using my AMD 7870 and also on my new GTX1080.

PC Specs:
Ryzen 1700x
16GB DDR4 3000
EVGA GTX1080 Classified
Oculus Rift with Touch (using keyboard and mouse to play though)

So, went back through the troubleshooting guide and decided to try and add TSEV.exe and VorpxControl.exe to WindowsDefender exception list. Just played for quite a while without any issues. Will come back and update if it crashes again.
