    Hi Ralf,

    there seem to be some problems with mycommerce.com, if I try to buy it with either a credit card or PayPal I get the following error from them:

    Dear Customer,

    We were unable to verify that the information you entered on the order form is valid.

    If you have not received notification within 24 hours, please contact our customer service department for assistance.

    Which is obviously bullshit, at least PayPal should work.

    The email address thy give you to contact does NOT work:

    “verify@mycommerce.com”: SMTP error from remote server after RCPT command: host: smtp.wip.digitalrivercontent.net
    5.1.0 Address rejected.

    I contacted them through a contact formular a few hours ago but they didn’t answer me yet.
    Did some research and it seems this is a common problem with mycommerce.com.
    My reddit post regarding this got some upvotes, so I am asuming I’m not the only one with this problem.

    I am really excited for vorpX and would be happy if you could either sort this out with mycommerce.com or prvide alternate means of purchasing.

    I’ll keep you updated if I get a response from mycommerce.

    After doing some research I found out that it has to do with the anti-fraud system they have since their Regnow days, which already sucked since 2004.
    But how did it reject a valid PayPal login? And why is their email not working?
    This is ridiculous.

    Hi Valez,

    Im sorry to see that happen. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do from here, since the purchase process is completely out of my control. Did you send a mail to mycommerces’s support? Maybe they can be of more help than I can.

    If by chance you are from Germany or at least somewhere in Europe, we should be able to work something out. In this case just send me a mail to support |at| vorpx com and we discuss this further.

    Thank you for your reply Ralf.
    Yeah, I know this is on mycommerce and out of your control.
    Their support mail is not working, as I have stated, but I used their contact form (http://www.mycommerce.com/shopper-contact , if someone else has this problem) a few hours ago. I’ll post here if I get a reply.

    I’m from Germany myself, I will send you an email. But I’m sure some others have the same problem, so it may be worth to look for a more general solution in the long term.

    Got an answer from mycommerce after almost 24 hours, and it doesn’t help at all:

    Thank you for contacting MyCommerce.

    We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, no complete orders were found under your information. Please try to place a new order.

    To attempt a new order, start by going to the vendors website.

    Add the product(s) you wish to purchase to the shopping cart. Once you have the items you wish to purchase in the shopping cart click on “Checkout”. We recommend when placing an order that you enter your billing information as it appears on your credit card billing statement.
    Please note that your order is not complete until you press the “Submit Order” button at the bottom of the Order Confirmation Page.

    What a shitty service (I mean mycommerce)!
    It seems they don’t even know their own system.

    I already send you an email Ralf. If there is an alternate way of purchasing vorpX for me, I would be very happy.

    No worries, I know you are very busy, I can wait a bit.

    And I replied again to mycommerce, maybe they can sort this out. I’m just not very optimistic about that, after they explained me how to buy things in an online shop. ;)

    TLDR:
    Mycommerce support is a joke. It seems that I have to wait till next week until I hear from them again. Don’t worry Ralf, I am still patient and can wait until you are less busy.

    After another 24 hours they finally seem to realise I’m not too stupid to click some buttons and write my name, but they still seem worried I may be not clever enough to receive emails:

    After 2 weeks abd countles mails they finally fixed it.
