what the heck! I just want to play csgo in 3d, but vorpx is not loading textures properly and I join a game and I can see through walls. THAT’S NOT COOL! What’s the deal?
or the game is not loading them properly when vorpx is running… there have been a couple updates and it’s still happening. textures aren’t loading. allowing me to see through walls. have reset to default csgo profile, but still can’t play, that would be cheating. are we just trying to get everyone who would dare to cheat banned? because I just want to play the game! xD
I’ll provide whatever info i need to if it’s just me… maybe I should try uninstalling and reinstalling csgo? I’d reinstall vorpx, but… that’s kind of a big hassle… is it just me or is this just something that isn’t getting fixed any time soon?
You might have positional tracking turned on and are clipping the camera through the wall, or you have the Enhanced FOV slider turned way up. You can turn both of these off in the delete key menu.
You could also try Z-normal 3D instead, if that even works with source engine, I can’t recall.
I forgot to update the profile for the last release, sorry. There is indeed some weird z-ordering issue that must have been introduced by a game update. A change in vorpX’s code can be ruled out as a cause, even the ages old vorpX build that was used to create the profile looks the same.
Unfortunately I couldn’t solve the issue despite spending two full days on it, so G3D will have to be disabled for the time being. Until that happens please don’t play the game.
Switching to Z3D in the vorpX menu is not enough in this case, making the matter even more strange. G3D has to be completetely disabled in the the system portion of the profile.
Strange. It’s been a while (year +) since I’ve played csgo, but I don’t recall any problem with geometry at all. Only struggle I remember is having to deal with the low fov.
You are suggesting a game update has broken it since? It does get updated often. Maybe I’ll have a look.
Does vorpX Z3D even work with anything source anymore? Seems like HL2 and other based mods I’ve used lately don’t produce.
