I’m using an older game named Trainz (TRS19) that essentially has no tracking ability for panning a view – it just uses the four arrow keys on the keyboard to allow the player to look around. Is there a feature in vorpX that allows a key to be triggered according to the movement of the headset (i.e., a movement to the left triggers the left arrow, looking up triggers the up arrow, etc.). If it isn’t an option available in vorpX, does anyone know if there’s an application available that can do that which I’d be able to use in tandem with vorpX?

As a follow-up, I was able to get an effect that was roughly what I was looking for by setting “Head Tracking as Gamepad” to “Absolute”. However, the way the program interprets the head movements is not intuitive. For example, if I move my head to the left the view pans to the left (as it should). But if I stop my head movement (with my head still looking left), rather than the view stopping at the time that my head turning stopped, the view continues to pan left; to stop the panning, I have to turn my head back to looking straight ahead, at which point my view is now looking out the left window, but my head is no longer positioned correctly relative to that view. Is there any way I can modify the action so that when my head stops, the panning stops?
