It used to work with the cloud profile. The game can’t find it’s textures. I think your memory tuning on this build might’ve broken some dx9 titles. You should offer a way to rollback versions if people have issues with their games instead of forcing the latest upon us.
Same problem for me. Super disappointed as Forgotten Hope 2 (BF2 WWII mod) is my favorite game to play in VR. Worked perfect until the most recent VorpX update. Now crashes when loading a mission. I’ve tried every setting and option. Wish there was a way to roll back the VorpX version.
As always no promises in regard to unsupported games, but I’ll take a look at it for the next maintenance update.
Thank you so much!
It’s Nvidia latest driver that might’ve messed up vorpx. I rolled back and Battlefield 2 works again.
Just a heads-up that I could pinpoint two potential issues with the game, using the demo. One can cause a crash directly at start on CPUs with >12 cores and another one can cause a crash when loading a map.
Both issues are addressed, so the game should work fine under all circumstances after the next maintenance update. No date set yet, but shouldn’t take too long.
Thanks for the update. In my case I’m pretty sure it was the last Vorpx update that caused the issue. It worked fine for me one day and not the next and the only thing that changed was Vorpx. I’m using an AMD Radeon card and not nvidia. I did try messing with the driver and it made no difference.
I’ll wait for the update and report back.
Thanks for your hard work!
Glad I’m not the only one… this Game was the reason i got vorpx again.. I hope this gets fixed…. I’ve been playing Battlefield 2 and been craving playing it in vr
@ gawky: Ideally please no “me too” posts below replies that contain solutions or fix announcements. Thanks! Makes life easier for everyone here and in every other forum on the planet. :)
