This profile is based on the official VorpX profile.

It seems that Morrowind is the best entry in the franchise, and many of us have very fond memories of the game.

    Steps to get everything working

Unfortunately, the Z3D effect—which is really good—breaks after loading a new area, and I wasn’t able to find a way to restore it once it breaks. The only way to restore it is to save the game, exit, and run it again, but this solution is highly impractical.

    Workaround:

For VorpX to hook properly, Morrowind Code Patch and MGE XE must be installed.

To enable G3D, you need to turn shaders on in the Renderer section of the Morrowind Graphics Extender GUI.

With shaders enabled, Z3D no longer works, but G3D becomes available and does not break when loading new areas.

The FOV can be changed in Morrowind Graphics Extender; in this case, Auto FOV must be turned off.

From my experience, the sweet spot resolution for VR is 3840×2880, which can also be set in Morrowind Graphics Extender before running the game.

Almost all of the game’s most important dialogues can be voiced using the Voices of Vvardenfell mod.
