I understand that it Edgepeek is a key feature and that the controllers are limited in buttons…

However the Oculus controller’s limited buttons ALSO means that there are actions that I would prioritize OVER Edgepeek.

For example, I am needing it now because since Vorpx doesn’t allow for motion control to emulate the mouse cursor, when I am using Auto Oculus Touch (Autohotkey) to emulate the mouse cursor. Since I don’t want to emulate the cursor the whole time, and that I want to maintain intuitive enabling/disabling of the mouse emulation because intuitive game control is important for gameplay, I find right grip is the most intuitive option because it has very little resistance force compared to the force from extra finger I’m putting into it.

But that button is stolen by Edgepeek. Which I don’t use.

What I notice is that the equally important Shift feature can be disabled. So I’m not asking for remapping, I’m asking for a symmetrical option… to disable.
