You may have to create a new custom profile for Rocket League in the config app. There is no official profile for the game and due to the many changes of this version there is a certain chance that old custom profiles made for earlier versions do not work correctly anymore. The game will also be looked into soon (finally), so with some luck there will be a full profile shortly.

You can backup any custom profile you made either by uploading them to the cloud or by saving them to a file in the config app.

Better preservation of user settings will be looked into for the next big update. VR in general (and with it vorpX) was so much in flux the whole time technically that settings were overwritten on purpose until now.

A similar thing is true for the shortcuts. To address a few issues on some configurations the new version uses the common data folders of a PC instead of user folders like before, hence you see the icons twice on your desktop. To delete the unwanted icons go to C:\Users\[User]\Desktop and delete the vorpX links in that folder. This is a one time change, from now on all new versions will use the common desktop.

A Lot of cool features here, but is there any way to rollback to a previous version for testing? I’m having some trouble after the update. Not sure if I should post here or in the troubleshooting section.

I pretty much use vorpx for one game (Rocket League in virtual cinema) and it no longer works after this update. Pretty sure it’s due to the vorpx update since the last patch for Rocket League was on 12/20 and I’ve played it with vorpx since then. I have an HTC Vive.

I did try Witcher 3 since I saw it already had a profile, and it did open in virtual cinema mode, so it at least appears to be isolated to Rocket League for now.

Also, couple issues that keep popping up every update which aren’t huge, but kind of annoying:
    – My excluded programs list gets reset to default every update, I have to add all my exclusions back every time.
    – My custom profiles (Rocket league) keep getting deleted after updates and I have to re-create them.
    – The updates create desktop shortcuts every time even if they already exist. I had 3 copies of each of the shortcuts due to the last 2 updates for a total of 9 vorpx related desktop shortcuts.

I feel like Ive seen this topic posted about once a week and never see any actual solutions or resolutions but I figure Ill give it a shot anyway

None of my steam games seem to be recognized by vorpx. Ive tried battlefield 4 and that being an origin game runs fine. The vorpx desktop works fine. Vorpx is running and has not reported any errors. Ive disabled every possible overlay I can think of and killed just about every running process I can besides steam, nvidia, and oculus. Ive disabled streaming and capture in the nvidia geforce experience. The only AV I have running is the one built in to windows 10

Ive tried just cause 3, a custom rocket league, CODBLOPS3, none of them get recognized by vorpx and launch in the headset. They only launch full screen on my desktop and I just continue to see the oculus home screen in my HMD
