Hi Allmy,
You can watch movies, even 3D movies, with vorpX using the VLC media player, but that’s not what you meant I guess.
Unfortunately vorpX cannot convert 2D movies into 3D movies, this only works for games.
Thus, if I want to watch movies, using Oculus Rift, I have to use VLC media player and vorpX, and movies must be 3D? And how does 2D movie look like in Oculus Rift?
You can also watch 2D movies this way. This looks similar to a big screen in front of you. For movie watching there are specialized programs though (Stereoscopic Player for example) that do this better than vorpX, at least for now. For vorpX this is just add-on functionality, it’s primarily meant for games.
