i’m new to vorpx so i tried the program with my standard 1080p monitor resolution, what i should do to play with vorpx on max resolution 4k per eye on the pimax 8kx?
I tried to add custom 16:10 resolutions like in the vorpx guide but seems that my monitor can’t go over 3456×2160 resolution which is a shame if i can’t use the full 4k panels the 8kx have
any ideas or suggestion?
You can add custom resolutions higher than your monitor allows in the nVidia control panel. the custom resolutions section in the vorpX help has a step-by-step guide.
Keep in mind though that resolutions that high will often be too much to maintain a decent frame rate. Super high resolutions aren’t worth much when you get dizzy because of a too low frame rate.
