Hey Ralf – sorry to bother you with the mundane yet after deciding to do battle with META after losing all drive information due to an ‘overheat crash’, yet reinstalling the VorpX software, filling out the required information and using the copy paste technique preferred, I’m still having no luck in activating the product for use once again.

I made a screen capture of the Email along with the completed VorpX registration menu and following error message incase you want me to send it in an Email as another post was recommended to do.

I waited a couple years before deciding to do this – a couple more days won’t kill me – still, now that I have Zuckerberg crawling through the bowels of my system thanks to META – It would be nice to have the carrot which has caused me to pull his wagon.

As Always – you’ve been great – Thanks.

If you changed your PC in the maeantime, you will need a new key. Please send your new request code to the registration mail address.

Yes, the overheating caused a restart loop which caused the C drive to become corrupted, so I bought a new one – reinstalled Windows with my user license – and began the arduous task of setting things back they way they were. Because I wanted nothing to do with META I had been ‘unplugging’ the internet from the back of the PC when using VR so I didn’t have to deal with their crap at META after they bought Oculus. Heck – my Rift is so old they didn’t make hand controllers yet . . .

Thanks for getting back to me. I’m a bit confused as I did all this on the ‘current’ PC with the new drive/installation.

Perhaps this is something you need to do in house so I’ll just pretend I’m starting new again like I did a few days back.

For anyone else as dense as I, the error was all mine.

In the field where it asks for my name/email I was only copying the Email WITHOUT MY ACCOUNT NAME that appears before it as part of the WHOLE.
