Desktop viewer black screen on laptop

As the title says I get a black screen using desktop viewer, I can still play everything and it still attaches but just can’t use desktop viewer on my laptop? Never once had this issue on my PC before I switched to a laptop.

Assuming it’s a gaming laptop with a dedicated GPU you may have to make sure that the desktop is running on the dedicated GPU. The most reliable way to do that is probably disabling the integrated GPU entirely in the BIOS if possible.

I tried a laptop for VR a few years ago.
I switched back to a Desktop immerdiately ;)
It wasn’t very efficient. Laptop versions of graphic cards aren’t as powerful. It’s probably harder to cool. It makes more noise.
