    Disco Elysium releases today, a colossal and groundbreaking RPG that’s been in development for 13 years (?). ACG reviewed the game as “fantastic” and “utterly brilliant”, a definitive “must buy”.

    It’s made in Unity Engine. My question is: Will it be easy to make a profile for this game? I’m very interested, but i don’t want to play it on a flat monitor. :)

    Hmm, I’d like to know as well.
    Maybe there are some profiles which could be tried?

    Maybe the usual starting profile for Unity games (for example Firewatch)?
    I’d like to make sure it works, *before* i buy the game. :)

    Someone will have to bite the bullet and do a steam return if it fails.
    If I get some time this weekend I’ll maybe try it a bit.

    It hooks with the Firewatch profile, but as I suspected from screenshots, it is not a 3D game.
    The backgrounds are flat 2D drawings like a traditional adventure game.

    On the plus side, I’ve only just sampled it and it seems excellent.

    The backgrounds are flat, OK. But the characters are surely in front of the background, aren’t they? No 3D at all?
