F1 2020 head tracking inverted

so i just bought this product to use with F1 2020 and it does not work.
the head tracking is inverted i.e turning my head left and the driver looks right.
so its unplayable.
I followed all the instructions during setup and checking all settings in the Vorpx menu and there is nothing i can see to fix it

using a HTC vive.
tracking is normal in cinema mode
