Homefront (G3D)
The first one. An action shooter a la call of duty. I was able to eliminate most shader errors and increase FOV with the Changer from PCGwiki. G3D looks alright, aside from unequal strengths between weapon models and the world.
FOV Changer download from PCGwiki here
– run HomefrontFOV.exe and set 96 Automatic Mode
– set game to dx11 mode
– use a 16:9 resolution (1920×1080) for correct sights
– turn off Ambient Occlusion in game settings
*Adjustable HUD sliders in vorpX menu
*G3D Shadow Treatment to “NO S3D” enables Global Illumination if preferred
*Has minor render culling around periphery
Just found this, i’ll check it out thanks.
This profile is pre Pimax8k, so I’d recommend switching to cinema ambient mode, zooming the screen all the way to -1.00 with curve at full 3.00.
I’ve found this setup running with a 16:9 resolution fits nicely on Pimax Normal FOV in most games (providing a game’s fov can reach high enough to suit).
96 in the FOV Changer should still look fine here, though you may want to raise the 3D strength a few clicks.
If you have any trouble, I can upload a Pimax version tomorrow. I plan to update most of my profiles soon anyway.
Pimax8K profile added for Homefront, using cinema fullscreen with additional shader fixes.
For this version:
– set FOV Changer to 103 Automatic mode
– set game to dx11 mode
– use a 16:9 resolution (2560×1440) for correct sights
– turn off Ambient Occlusion in game settings
*try with Pimax Normal FOV, or switch to Small if edge culling too bothersome
*Has minor render culling around periphery
You can disable this, one of the active vertex shaders is responsible for it (IIRC).
Correction: VS (3420150903) is making other problems when using it. Use the corresponding PS to disable that effect.
