It uses id tech 7,like doom eternal
Can you try it?
Dang, it’s Vulkan only.
I was hoping this would be a fun first person game in vr.
I dont down why. But i tru It and vorpx hook It! Its fantastic!!!! With gestire Is a good VR experience. Only bad things are that some time the game switch in 3rd person.
What?
Which profile?
C’รจ ste a dic compagniu miuuu?
I could not make it work with VorpX. Let’s hope there is going to be a VR mod for this game.
i have upload a profile for indiana jones
luka, i have no 3d effect with your profile…
with vulkan and dx12 you never get 3d effect in any games!
Guys, how do you make it work? All I see with Luka’ profile is a black screen …
Probably related to nVidia drivers 580.88+ causing a black screen in DX12 games with any vorpX version prior to 25.1.0. Fix here: vorpX 25.1.1 Available Now
Thank you! With the new version, luka’s Indy profile doesn’t hook at all–but if you open the Desktop Viewer and start the game from there, it opens in Full VR mode! No stereo, of course, but that’s to be expected. The problem is, the Desktop Viewer kinda crashes, and the monitor remains in sleep mode, so you can’t exit & restart the game if needed.
But since Indy works (sans stereo), how does one go about creating a proper profile? It’s Vulkan, etc.
I see. Vulkan is not supported. The desktop viewer is the only option in that case.
Your actual monitor should come back after a while when something goes wrong with the virtual monitor. At the worst about 30 seconds after taking off your headset.
You can also disable the virtual monitor in the config app. It’s quite useful though since it comes with many vorpX specific resolutions predefined and runs at the refresh rate of your headset for a uniquely (at least I think so) smooth desktop experience.
Any chance we can get head tracking working in Desktop Viewer? It doesn’t translate into mouse movements.
If you mean head tracking mouse emulation not working currently in desktop viewer: next update. That’s a bug, not sure yet why it happens. Either next week, or if that doesn’t work out, in a couple of weeks.
Thank you so much in advance–would be great to see it fixed! Fingers crossed.
In the meantime, I tried launching Indy raw (without any profile), and twice, Vorpx hooked! It displays a screen saying smth like, “Looks like there’s no profile for this game, but you can try running it in unsupported mode.” It works beautifully afterwards, with head tracking, etc.
But most of the time, it fails to hook (helpers, admin rights and alternative methods do not help). Any idea why this could be?
