I’ve played a bit of Resident Evil 2 with the First Person Mod in VorpX. It looks in Full-VR G3D amazing, and plays great (with the exception of the FOV changing when I hold the aim button, RE7 did this too but you could fire at least from the hip there). The issue is performance, in G3D on the lowest the settings can go and it’s still dipping into the sub 40-55 fps range and that’s already under-sampled to where it is very blurry. If it wasn’t for the performance it would be an incredible VorpX game. I guess I’m trying to see if anyone has any other methods they barter for frame rate, for me leaving G3D is a no go. It’s kind of strange that VorpX has this performance ceiling that eventually if a game is running poorly no amount of lowering of settings seems to help. Games with Stereoscopic 3d through virtual desktop on SBS do not seem to take such a hit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBaF_2riBoM&feature=youtu.be
Just one more note: I know G3D is expensive and to the point it can cut the FPS in half, however RE2 remake can run in 4k max settings at 60+ fps on the flat screen with ease, people do that even with a 1060 in some cases at 1440p.
