The Witcher 3 doesnt run

Hay, i am just trying out Vorpx for the first time but i cant get it to run on The Witcher 3.

So i have downloaded the Game via GoG and it works perfectly fine without Vorpx, bu when i start Vorpx and select the Witcher 3 profile in th Local tab, after that i start the Witcher 3 but just a black box opens for a second and thats it basically.

Any advice someone?

try to pause watcher before launching the game , then resume it while the game is loading,( just count 2 second and resume it)

I’m having the same problem. What do you mean Oliiiiive? Pause Watcher? Do you mean Witcher, or is that something else? How do you do that?

After playing around for a while I’ve managed to get the game to launch.

Start VorpX.
Go to the taskbar and right click on the Vorpx icon.
Select “create desktop short cut” and select the location of the Witcher 3 exe
Run W3 from the shortcut.

Now I’ve got other problems.

The FOV is all wrong.
The scenery warps and bends with camera movement.

Gotta ask, why does the VorpX “supported games” list say Witcher 3 is supported when there is no profile for the game. That means that its NOT supported right?

Ehh. Another bust. Getting tired of every game not working with Vorpx.

There is no FOV slider native to witcher 3.
Only FOV tweaks I can find are outdated mods on Nexus.
You can use cheat engine to adjust the FOV, but it breaks cutscenes.
