alegseParticipantEvery time I start VorpX it starts “Downloading Update”.
Then when the download finishes an install window appears
The install window says
“rolling back changes …” and VorpX automatically closes
The EndIf I try to start VorpX again I repeat the same process again and again…
Same if I use Configure VorpXAny advice on how I can make VorpX work again ?

alegseParticipantSOLVED.
I updated my NVIDIA graphics drivers. Then the update worked perfectly.
(not sure if this was the true solution but try it if you have the same problem)May 8, 2016 at 7:17am #102094
SoelbrosMeatballsParticipantI have updated my nvidia drivers but yet still getting the rollback error on launch… help please?

RalfKeymasterThat may be caused by a file being in use that is supposed to be updated. Please first try to restart PC, which might solve a file issue. If that does not help, try a fresh install using your web installer.

SoelbrosMeatballsParticipantThanks Ralf,
I did what you said by uninstalling and using the web installer and it worked just fine.
I did send you a registry key request but found it in my old emails.
Thanks.May 13, 2016 at 8:47pm #102354
Danzel88ParticipantSo apparently I’m an idiot. I was having the same issue and thought I would also uninstall and reinstall, but having now uninstalled I can’t find my original installer. Any ideas? Is it possible to get another? I’ve still got all my original emails and id codes, but of course my original link is now way past its expiry…

redParticipant@Danzel88 : Try sending an email to support |at| vorpx |dot| com explaining the issue.

alegseParticipantsend email to support|at|vorpx.com and explain. Ralph is usually good about replying quickly.

Thanks. For me the program that was opened was Photos.exe. Why it is running in the background I have no idea. I closed it in task manager and the update went through and vorpX started up.
