RalfKeymasterYour issues sound as if you are using Virtual Desktop together with vorpX. Don’t. Really, just don’t!
Exit the VD Streamer on your PC. Set your headset type to ‘Meta Quest Link’ in the vorpX config app and enjoy vorpX like intended. Will feel like upgrading a 10 year old PC to something recent. Prefer wired Link for the best exprience. VD might work well in other cases, but with vorpX it produces performance issues, micro stutter and lag/latency even on fast WiFi that are beyond bad.

markus3776ParticipantThanks for the update, Ralf. The performance and visuals are significantly better than in the old version. Unfortunately, the weapon handling settings in Fallout 4 aren’t saved. No matter what you set there, it’s always set to Auto Hide after a game restart. This can also be checked with the Last Saved button.

vintagerParticipantMouselook still doesn’t work for me in the Desktop Viewer. Am I doing something incorrectly?

Florian-83ParticipantHello @subroutine,
Could you please confirm that VorpX still works with FS25? DX12 with Z3D? FullVR? I’d hate to buy the game for 50 bucks, if it doesn’t work. I’d rather stick with FS22.

RalfKeymasterNot subroutine, but I can confirm it works.

Florian-83ParticipantThank you Ralf. Sorry for Thread Hijacking.

vintagerParticipantWhat do I need to do to enable headset-powered mouselook in Desktop Viewer?

RalfKeymasterYou may have to raise the ‘Headtracking Sensitivity’ value in the menu. If it still doesn’t work afterwards, on your machine something is wrong that isn’t covered by the fix for the issue. Potentially some weird Windows access rights issue that might e.g. be caused by running Windows with separate admin/day-to-day accounts.

khornik345ParticipantI downloaded version 25.2.1 and it won’t install because Bit Defender detects a trojan in it: Trojan.GenericKD.77572100 and blocks the installation

BerZerker96 phParticipanthello , tried using the new version i use a custom resloution for 4 by 3 for games but any game i launch with my custom resloution crashes before starting vorpx , runnig at default 4k launches fine , im not using virtual moniter since many games dont let me pick display 2 , any way to prevent crashing ?

RalfKeymaster… im not using virtual moniter since many games dont let me pick display 2 …
For that reason with default settings vorpX can disable your actual display when the virtual display is used. The easiest way to trigger that is launching the vorpX desktop viewer and then simply putting on your headset.
Make sure ‘Enable Virtual Monitor’ and ‘Activate when you put on your headset’ are both checked on the Virtual Monitor page of the config app. That would be the default settings.

jazbanterParticipantRalf: Huge thanks the recent updates! The virtual monitor capability alone is a game changer and I’m amazed how well it works for new titles that refuse to latch (e.g. ARC Raiders) and old titles that have ceased to latch over time (e.g. KCD II).
Any chance you could add an option to specify the width of the virtual screen without fixed ratio restrictions? 4096 x 2160 is my go to, 5120 x 2160 at 21:9 is as close as I can get now without sacrificing height, and it’s a tad too much for my rig.
Thanks!

Hear, hear! Would be nice to able to define any custom resolution for the virtual monitor \ desktop to use :)

jazbanterParticipantRelated to 25.1.2, I decided to chase down why Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 stopped latching in this generation of Vorpx and got strange results…
When there is no local profile saved for the game, it latches perfectly. However, if I make any change (at all) in the in-game vorpx options and save them, the next time I launch, the game starts before the latching dialog appears and latching fails.
My only workaround is to make temporary in-game changes every time I play.
Clearly vorpx is capable of latching, so there must be a fix.
