Unfortunately I had not disabled automatic updates so Steam forced the new 2.3 update for Cyberpunk on me. I did download the new Vorpx Cyberpunk mod from the homepage but unfortunately it appears to be broken. Couldn’t get it to start in OpenXR or SteamVR. I’m using Virtual Desktop with Meta Quest 3. Everything worked fine with OpenXR and Cyberpunk and the Vorpx Mod before version 2.3. Can’t remember whether I had anything configured differently when I started Cyberpunk before the 2.3 update. Is there a known issue with the current Vorpx mod?

Ok, when I tried the different buttons with left grip activated I apparently didn’t look at the screen to hack. So it is left grip together with left trigger while looking at the object to hack. Works now.

I tried the second mapping with the left grip button. That works for injecting the medicine in the tutorial but I couldn‘t activate the scanner that way by pressing the stick in a different direction while holding grip. It could of course also be that activating the scanner is mapped on a button that Virtual Desktop uses (for example long press left menu button is used by VD to switch to the Windows desktop).

    Hi,

I just started playing Cyberpunk with the free Vorpx mod (thanks for the great work!).

I couldn’t figure out how to activate the scanner to hack computers with the VR controllers. Or are you supposed to use the keyboard for that?

After watching some YouTube videos and playing a bit with the settings I seem to have found solutions:
    1. I set the framerate cap to off and headset sync to custom/fast. This seems to give a smoother gameplay and – perhaps I’m mistaken – even slightly better graphics.
    2. I increased vertical field of view in Cyberpunk settings to 90 (from 80). I also discovered that Vorpx apparently automatically added a custom resolution to Cyberpunk of 3200×2200 automatically and changed to that resolution (I set render res to Ultra in Vorpx).

Problems are solved and everything looks fine (I’m using Virtual Desktop on Quest 3 set to use OpenXR in God-Like render res at 90 Hz, DLSS Transformer Model set to Quality).
