Subscribe to the issue! Ralf! You are going to correct the curves shaders in true 3D? Or do we need the help of the community?

Thank you! There was one more question:
    – Tell me whether he vorpX increase fov to 110 degrees in supported games? Or all the same will have to bother yourself in a folder with a game?
    Thank you.

Ralf! You are working on one VorpX? Or do you have a team? VorpX will require installation of a system, or it will work just the same as VIREIO?

@ arni : I backed the Kickstarter project on day one, so I should receive my Rift pretty early if all goes well. @ mikearms : No decision in this regard for now. I know that many people like to tweak settings, so most likely you will be able to adjust some things at least to a certain degree. But – and that’s a very important but – in contrast to 3D on a monitor, in VR this is absolutely not a ‘more is better’-setting. It has to be chosen very carefully. If you overdo it, the world around you starts to look out of scale. The effect is quite interesting psychologically, but not something you would normally want.

All of you are right! But it vorpX will support not only RIFT, but also 3D-widescreen monitors … Everyone is different! My friend for example, one and the same-setting in 3D VISION – perceive differently … You just do the basic recommended VR – setting! But do not forget to leave us a little room for experiments with 3D. Do though, would adjust the depth, convergence and convergence weapons away from the world!

I understand that you understand the issue, much more than we do – ordinary gamers … BUT! The customer is always right!

So long will not play. Well, how much? An hour or two … I’m laying my HMZ for 6-7 hours with a gamepad.
Do not misunderstand me! I do not want to move around, stand, sit, or even a move. I just want to lie down on the couch, pick up the controller, put RIFT and immerse themselves in a virtual universe (The Matrix, Avatar)
I have both and KINECT PS MOVE … After a day, does not have enough power to it. And even more – all kinds of motion sensors are not suitable for 6-8 hour sessions. So that, for me, the picture quality a priority.
Now, if it were possible to control the body in the game with the thought … I think that this is the future!

Hello Ralf! For me, head movement in the game, much less important than the excellent 3D picture. (Albeit with low frame rate) I think you should strive to this conclusion 3D images (2 full-frame) in all supported games. All other methods of artificial output 3D – just awful. Especially in games in the first person! (Halo, transparent objects are not displayed in 3D (glass, water, dust, fog, light, smoke, blood, and other sprites!) As I understand it, your output method of stereoscopic images is similar to that used in CRYSIS 2,3 and many games on consoles … Did you see coming out of the screen looks like a weapon in CRYSIS 3 in 3D?
I am willing to pay thousands of dollars for moschny PC – just not to see artificial 3D!
People like me, think it’s not enough …
Sorry, a little harsh, but that is the reality. 3D quality should not be worse than the NVIDIA 3D VISION. And please! Add a function separate convergence of weapons from the world, the games in the first person. That there was no effect “Guliver”!

    Many thanks Ralf!
