Hi Ralf,
have checked my version is 17.1.3.0 downloaded on 14/1/2017.
it is loading normally now each time, i think its after crashing and trying to reload it needs changing.

“would you kindly” help me with another couple of issues please…

1)i cant seem to use the in game vorpx menu with mouse head tracking or htc track pad?
i can only use the direct vr from alt l key board short cut?

2)other thing is im only getting z-normal not g3d?

Hi Ralf

I cant save my resolution changes etc or my key settings, i have to configure everything each time i load the game? is there something that can save my settings?

the game save point does work but i guess its the configuration settings that keep wiping, can you help?

Managed to start in -dx9 mode (by adding it in to the steam launch command below), but it wasnt that simple….

“Set Launch Options
Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
Under the General tab click the Set launch options… button.
Enter the launch options you wish to apply (be sure to separate each code with a space) and click OK.
Close the game’s Properties window and launch the game”

I then had to create a vorpx short cut by right click on the vorpx tray icon etc..
to run the game from the shortcut i then had to turn the watcher off in the vorpx tray icon (it didnt work from my normal bioshock shortcut just with -dx9)

then the game opened in a low res which looked poor, so then selected window mode, no dx10 detail, vert sync off, and then changed resolution. (if i changed res in non window mode it crashed)

From memory it crashed a couple of times during making all these changes and crashed last night but i restarted by running steamvr and checking its “ready” before going through vorpx and the shortcut.

Im not completely sure which bits have got it working but its playing well like this now!

Hi Ralf

many thanks managed to get it to work after some other fidling;
re-applied the cloud bioshock-vorpx settings
made a short cut from vorpx and paused the watcher
In game menu;
turn off direct X 10 detail
window mode
vert sync off
res 1600×1200
graphics and texture detail high
(notes may help me again if not anyone else)

rapture in VR is great!
2K are nuts for not doing a VR version for the collection, i`d have paid good money for it
