If you have Bluetooth installed and enabled on SteamVR then VorpX isn’t initializing the tracking stations when launching the game. I have experienced exactly the problem anon123456 and o.mukhanov described, and these are the steps I took to fix the issue.
To fix
1. Run SteamVR
2. Open Settings
3. Click General
4. Turn off bluetooth.
5. Quit SteamVR
6. Base stations should stay on now, and you can use VorpX
