Thanks for the tips, Trancer, I’m looking forward to giving those a try.
Cheers!
ChrisstompeersParticipantThanks for the tips, the in-game resolution was the problem for viewing the game properly, and I played with some settings to get the frame rate up – which I think was causing the bulk of my tracking problems.
The one thing I noticed that I couldn’t fix was how light reflects a little too differently for each eye and causes a kind of shimmer effect. If I close one eye at a time, I can see that the issue is that the light is rendering in two pretty different places. Also, the reflection on water is impossible for me to focus on. If anyone has tips on settings that might fix this, it would be great to hear.
Thank you again!
ChrisstompeersParticipantAh, I get what you meant now. Great, this is so cool! It’s bugging out my eyes, though, when I move. I can focus on a still area and it’s good, but as soon as I move around, I lose focus and have to work a bit to get it back. I did the interpupillary test and adjusted that, but it didn’t seem to fix it. Is this just par for the course, or are there other settings I might be able to adjust?
Thank you!
ChrisstompeersParticipantThank you for the response. When I’m in the game and press DELETE to show the in-game settings, I can’t read any of them because they’re so small. I’ve tried several combinations of display/monitor settings but haven’t gotten anything yet. The tracking is working, it’s just shows the split screen instead of a unified image, so I know it’s hooking properly.
Any way I can access the resolution in-game?
Thanks!
