Try adding gldriverquery.exe to the exclude list in the vopX config app. No guarentee that it will help, but worth a shot.
Thank’s for the reply! I added that binary to the exclude list, but it didn’t help :( I reinstalled WalkinDead1 to make sure it’s not about changing from Win7 to Win8.1 – it still works with Part 1.
I tried the “create desktop shortcut” method but it works neither.
Usually, when vorpX properly hooks into a game, it’s binary gets listed under “unknown sources” in oculus library (enable filter, if so) (I’m using an Oculus Rift, obviously).
For example, I played “Deponia” (a point and click adventure) in cinema mode. Really enjoyable, BTW!
This game got an entry “deponia3.exe” with fitting picture in my Oculus library.
However, after trying WalkingDead2, the only new entry I get in the Oculus library is
gldriverquery.exe
which seems to be related to Steam. Again: WalkingDead1 (box version, not steam) worked with vorpX, WalkindDead2 (steam) does not.
Maybe this helps in getting it to work :)
