Sorry Ralf, back on topic. What’s your thoughts on the suggestion? (The request to add a toggle that flips what the vive right trackpad defaults to). The touch sensitive right pad/stick really gets in the way during play. One menu option that flips the default and the secondary (face buttons default, r-stick secondary) would be a big help to comfort and general play-ability. I know you have a million requests to consider but this is my current #1, Is it something that you would consider?

I think if a functionality is clearly labeled as “experimental” nobody should complain if it doesn’t work in their setup.

…some of it comes from “room-scale nazis” with superiority complex. Those people will always complain about something, there is no reason to worry about them when deciding on a functionality to include.

Wow. This thread is just a simple feature request backed up with logical reasons (both comfort and control) and a report about some bugs in Bioshock. The two room scale request both complemented on how we like vorpx. CHILL

Both major headsets are room scale. Is it crazy to think Vorpx would want to support it being more comfortable to play that way? Especially such a small change like letting us flip the default icons on the right pad?

I think you are very incorrect that labeling something experimental means don’t complain. I would suggest it means “HEY, this might be buggy, and don’t get ANGRY if something breaks…but it would help a lot if you have any issues or suggestions report them to the support forum so we can fix them”.

Forums are here for feature requests and bug reports, the nazi like thing would be someone coming in here telling us not to do that…

I have also found my self playing in standing scale (since visible passive motion control support). This enables me to turn freely and no longer required the right stick input and see my virtual hands.. I would love to see the options to map the right stick/touch pad to the xbox controller face buttons . I know this is already possible when you press the grip button but it disables the ability to walk at the same time. I no longer use the right stick as I turn with my body in standing scale.

would it be possible to make the touch pads customizable as well?

One menu option that toggles the right hand vive inputs to be (Right stick default/Face Buttons 2nd) or (Face Buttons default/Right stick 2nd) would fix this for room scale vive. Fully customizable would be even better but I get that you don’t want option overload.

I think this is an important feature request for both comfort and controls for room scale vive players. With the current controls any accidental touch to the vive right pad and your view spins. Spinning when you don’t expect is something I think makes most uncomfortable. In room scale you do not need the right stick ever. It being default is both a waste of valuable control space and effects comfort.

Vorpx is great, please consider adding this toggle option to make room scale games a lot more playable.

I actually requested this a few weeks back, https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/vive-controller-customization/, but did not get any replies.
