Had only time to test the first level looks clean so far. G3D with good 3d strength 1.5.

Morning, did a little test and yes as long as you are not in the actual game (past the menus) you cant see no values, but if you are in a level it works.
This game also forces me to start steamvr and wmr client in advance.
As I found out there are still some little glitches or some objects only rendered for one eye (hard to find, nO.15 central hall i.e.).

thanks works and looks pretty good. I can see the menu and enable the controllers after the game starts, but if the controllers are enabled the next time I start the game Vorpx crashes and I have to reload a clean profile.

I’m using Vive controllers. yeah it seems to like defaulting to the Xbox controller. So much that if you change it the program crashes.

When I start this game the Vorpx menu is blank (no text)

The same here. Game is randomly showing/not showing menu text, crashing and/or having texture issues, not showing im HMD especially (not at all) with resolutions above 1920×1080. Besides most objects are 2D. I suppose theres not much you can do, the game is just one that doesnt properly work together with vorpx. You may try a different base profile for a better 3D but the issues above make it rather unplayable.

what, I dont know I play this game in 2160p and it looks aside from the glich I mentioned above good, far from unplayable maybe in lower resolutions it doesnt work ??
    Have to try this..

Just played around a bit no crashes no problems must be with your controllers, I would recommend to play this game in 2160p with all other stuff on , dont miss the later levels looking great in 3d (toyworld, card dashes!) Some objects I put into no positional mode in the shadertool to avoid glitching when I pulled up the strength.
Experienced users may turn this back and play more conservative, I like it this way;)
Maybe I optimized too much for 2160p and in lower resolutions its crap didnt tested yet..

Looks like the game doesnt clean up memory properly when not beeing shot down properly. One single crash and the PC must be rebooted in order to make it run with VorpX again. Though the menu glitch remains showing up randomly.

Concerning 3D, i dont want to hurt your feelings, but most of the game is 2D. The Unity profile you were using just cant properly handle that game. Perhaps you try out this profile to see the difference to how 3D can look like on this game. I just havent put that up the cloud yet because of the issues i had.

    Anyway, nice game !

No probs, everybody hurts sometimes as REM told me ;) I will try your profile, soon I found out how to get it imported, first time I do this, Im curious..
Maybe benzoylperoxide can give a final statement, how it works for him. We have all so different HW specs and HMDs and tastes hard for VorpX to handle.
One thing I wonder why would people prefer those clunky Hmd controllers over a proper gamepad in these kind of games. Imagine myself with the WMR controllers seperate in both hands not to mention they loose energy real fast.

RJK would love to try a different profile but

Vive controllers are awesome in Vorpx. One obvious advantage is they are tracked so you can see your hands while playing. And you can see the buttons which is helpful for keyboard mapped games. (Keyboard mapping crashes with this game too).

Plus I just feel more immersed when I can see my hands..

It actually does work in this game if you turn it on after the game is running but as I mentioned crashes the next time you run it.

Maybe coz Im downloaded first :) Ok I see then it makes sense to use them. And aside the controllers did you proceed in game and can tell some impressions ? Maybe we can make it better all together ?

@ RJK ok wasnt that hard since theres a import button, game starts but there comes a critical error prevents Vorpx from doin magic Error code 201
