The Halo games work beautifully in VorpX. Unfortunately the game’s HUD and crosshair design doesn’t translate well to VR. I found a way to remove it in the original Halo CE, but not in the later games. Has anyone found a way to remove the crosshair and Hud in any of other games, specifically Halo 3?
MOD TO REMOVE HUD AND CROSSHAIR FROM HALO 3 (IT USES A D3D11.DLL FILE WHICH MAKES IT INCOMPATIBLE WITH VORPX: https://www.nexusmods.com/halothemasterchiefcollection/mods/88#:~:text=Press%20caps%20lock%20to%20toggle%20HUD%20on%2Foff.%20Press,toggle%20the%20HUD%20off%20with%20an%20Xbox%20controller
FIX TO REMOVE CROSSHAIR FROM HALO CE:
UPDATE: I ignored the vorpx warning and tried the game with the mod anyway, and it works. Here are the links to the mods per Halo game. Apparently you can’t install them all. They have to be one at a time depending on which game you choose.

You can also just activate the “Blind” skull in the campaign options, which disables the HUD natively.

LOL! Oh man. I wish I’d known this before I did all that experimenting. Thanks for the info!
