I’ve not heard any yet, but am tempted to have a try at it soon. I noticed it’s on sale now, though I’m hoping more for a $10 target.
From what I’ve read though, it is Unity based (high chance of G3D compatibility) and includes an fov slider up to 95 degrees, which is good since there typically isn’t any fov ini edits possible for Unity games.
Most other Unity games just need dynamic shadows set to low or off, and the rest should look good. I’m not sure though if the painting capture mechanic in this game does anything special to not translate well in 3D.
I’m not sure if this will get official support, but chances are good that you can get it working adequately already with existing Unity profiles.
…We have most exciting news! Jaclyn and I will be at GDC this year showing a playable build of Eastshade! Unity very graciously invited us to show in their 3d Game Art Challenge, along with 11 other spectacular 3d games…
