Cant wait to try that -absolutly awesome screenshots!
Its cry engine and many other games i have with cry engine are working very well with vorpx (thank you Ralf!)
I bohght the beta key for 46 € but i have to wait with the download, until the temp folders of the game are not installing the game only on hard disc drive c. Its an sdd in my pc and to small for the temp folder of the game.
They want to fix it soon, otherwise i will change the windows path for the temp folder to another drive –
— anyway, cant wait to see that in VR! Look at the pictures of this game!!
Native VR support is announced from the devs soon as possible. But if i see that, i like to have vorpx support imidiatly…
Nov 7, 2016 at 1:24am #122543alegseParticipantI know this is an old post but I just tried this.
It seems to work well with the Crysis 2 profile and Z3D.
I get 35-40 FPS which is about the same as on monitor.
You can set the FOV with console command cl_fov xxx. I used 110 for CV1. FOV seems to look good in horizontal direction but has some distortion in vertical direction.
You can use any custom resolution too which is good.
Head tracked mouse look seems to work perfectly. Not the best VorpX game but not the worst. It is certainly playable already.
Would be neat to try in GEO 3D, but I doubt that I could get above 20 fps and I could not find a working G3D profile. Crysis 1 profile would not load.Dec 16, 2016 at 7:40pm #123692LordAmauryParticipantHi alegse, glad to hear that this game can be played ! Can you help me a bit with that ?
I have just duplicated the Crysis 2 profile, adding the kingdom Come Deliverance .exe but it just crash on startup -_- !
Maybe I’m doing something wrong…?
Feb 14, 2018 at 8:58pm #170806haintsParticipantOld post, I know, but I couldn’t get it working with cloned profile either. I renamed the game’s .exe to Crysis3 and that worked but only the HUD has 3D. Will keep trying.
Feb 15, 2018 at 3:12am #170812morbidexpressionParticipantWhat’s to keep trying? Just use the Crysis 3 profile and don’t rename anything. Loads just fine and Geometry 3D works everywhere.
Feb 15, 2018 at 4:15am #170813haintsParticipantJust use the Crysis 3 profile and don’t rename anything
What are you talking about?
The Crysis 3 profile is locked down to the Crysis3.exe. You can’t add KCD to that profile because VorpX won’t let you. So you have to rename the KCD.exe.
If you are talking about making a COPY of the Crysis 3 profile and using that, I already said I tried that and it didn’t work for me.
What’s to keep trying?
Like I already said, even when I got the Crysis 3 profile to work with KCD, ONLY the HUD was in 3D. Everything else was flat, with no depth at all.
Feb 15, 2018 at 6:34am #170820RalfKeymasterThere is no way to get 3D without vorpX 18.1.0, which will be released Saturday. Some code additions were necessary for G3D with KCD.
Feb 15, 2018 at 6:44am #170821haintsParticipantHappy to wait till Saturday, Ralph. This might even rival Hellblade as a great Vorpx enhanced experience …
I don’t understand why some of you think it works now as is since it is in 2D?

woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot nice !!!! thanks Ralf !
Feb 15, 2018 at 7:10pm #170837matteo39Participantkingdom is heavy in 2d, i can’t imagine in vr :)
Feb 17, 2018 at 5:41pm #170890matteo39Participantnew version of vorpx with kingdome come profile is now out!
Feb 17, 2018 at 7:51pm #170906alegseParticipantHow is the vr? I am about 2 hours in and the game is pretty cool. Much better optimisation than the demo which used to CTD all the time.
Feb 17, 2018 at 10:48pm #170922haintsParticipantI’d say it’s good, although my rig might not be up to G3D with this game and FOV feels slightly zoomed in. I’m definitely going to go back and play this with VorpX when I finish GTA V.
Feb 17, 2018 at 10:51pm #170924matteo39Participanthow we can improve fov with this game?
Feb 17, 2018 at 10:59pm #170925alegseParticipanttry the console command
cl_fov X
You can adjust your FOV in the settings menu, but only to four values: 60, 65, 70, and 75. Entering the code above, and adding a number in place of the X, you can change the value to whatever you like and see the results immediately.
