Anyway to get 21.3.5 and Beta to peacefully coexist?

Installed them both, granted the beta I installed into the Animation Labs
folder into a folder named vorpx beta. Have tried renaming both folders (i.e the beta folder renamed to vorpx and the vorpx folder renamed to vorpx STOP temporarily) when
I want to switch to the beta to use the desktop viewer.

Alas, the beta version of the desktop viewer refuses to do it’s thing. The vorpx service will start
but when I try to start the viewer it gives me a Openvr is not installed error. 21.3.5 works without issue. OpenVR (SteamVR) also works without issue otherwise.

What workaround can I do to be able to use them both instead of it being situation of one or the other installed at one time?
