steph12Participantlet’s cross fingers.

SmoilsParticipantYes, 3080 absence is more concerning than vorpx working with the game right away

dborosevParticipantAs someone who’s used VorpX for 4 years: Use Z3D (as thats more likely to be supported than G3D right away) and crank the 3D setting to 3. It gives the best depth, very close to G3D.
And Z3D is very fast, no need to worry about performance.Oct 18, 2020 at 5:41pm #197365
dborosevParticipantThe latest info drop on the game:

DaveParticipantChristmas at the latest vorpx will be ready with an update !

dborosevParticipantIn the past, Ralf has been pretty good about dropping a “quick release” for high demand games as soon as they’re out, so fingers crossed! But its all up to his schedule so we’ll see.

steph12Participanti’m more concerned about getting a 6800 xt actually before the game releases, my gtx 1080 starts severely showing its age in VR :/
Nov 23, 2020 at 8:32pm #197995
dborosevParticipantIt’ll run fine in Z3D, you just can’t crank the graphics too high. The recommended specs for the game aren’t actually that bad, and Z3D doesn’t subtract much from the fps. Also, its almost a certainty Ralf will release it as Z3D at first just to get it out and playable by everyone who doesn’t have a GtX4090 from the year 2023.

JesuslovesyouParticipantI’m ready for some cp2077 in vr.
Nov 25, 2020 at 6:49pm #198038
zero_nanometerParticipantWaiting on my HP G2 to arrive… Been waiting all summer/fall to get Vorpx and play Cyberpunk 2077 in VR. If Ralf adds G3D for CP77 I would seriously pay $100 for it.
Hopefully with a 3090 and Zen 3 I will have the horsepower needed
Nov 25, 2020 at 7:59pm #198039
DaveParticipantIf you will deactivate Raytracing complete, but though activate DLSS Performance Mode, you will have enough Performance with a RTX 3090 and Ryzen 5000. The Problem is that CP77 is DX12 only, and vorpx does not support G3D in DX12. What’s more is that DLSS breaks G3D also DX11, and there is also no quick fix.

matteo39Participantcan i play cyb2077 in z3d with my gtx 1060?
is better then a 1660
https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1660-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB/4038vs3639i play in gta5 in vr perfectly with a 1060
a 2060 is similar to a gtx 1060

dborosevParticipantYou can. It just won’t look as amazing as the demo vids. You just won’t be able to run all the bells and whistles and high res, etc. But should still be at least playable.
