    Hello everyone,

sorry for this nooby question, but is there any way to turn off the headtracking of the mouse cursor while in the ingame inventory or the menus?

Today i tried STALKER Anomaly for the first time and it’s really annoying when you want to select an item or a dialogue option in the inventory or ingame and the slightest head movement ensures that you click everything except that what you want to click.

That only works for profiles where vorpX has other means of applying head tracking than emulating a mouse, which is not the case for Stalker unfortunately. With moused based tracking vorpX would have to know when you are in a menu or inventory screen.

What helps a lot however is switching to EdgePeek mode while using menus or invetory screens, which is more comfortable anyway. That way you can see the whole screen and don’t have to look around while using the menu. Edgepeek can be enabled by pressing the mousewheel, the left gamepad thumbstick or the right grip button on your VR controller.

Thank you Ralph for your reply.👍
I found out about the Edgepeek function and it works well for me.
It would be really amazing if you had the option to deactivate headtracking at least in the Edgepeek view via Horkey or automatically via a menu setting.

Disabling mouse based tracking during EdgePeek is a double edged sword unfortunately. Would be better for using menus, but since vorpX doesn’t know whether the game is in a menu or not while you are in EdgePeek mode, you would end up looking into another direction in reality than in the game after leaving EdgePeek in other situations, namely when you use EdgePeek during normal gameplay without switching to a menu screen first and then change your view direction. That would be more awkward in the end than things are currently.
