Black Screen With Audio

Hello Vorpx’ers, first off thank you very much for this software… I just released my Oculus Rift CV1 yesterday and have been trying to experience my games in VR. Well when I try to run BF4, it comes up with the black screen, with audio. I can hear my selections, but can’t see anything. I made sure the Oculus Home is minimized. What do I need to do now?

Please run the game windowed and/or use ALT TAB to bring it to front when it looses focus. Unfortunately that can happen with Oculus Home.

Just in case: BF4 loads pretty slow, so please also make sure to allow it its usual 1-2 minutes to display anything. The small loading animation in the screen corner is not visible in the headset.

Ok after testing with a few games, I generally get the same outcome (black screen with sound), or the game app doesn’t execute. For instance, I created a profile for Rust. When I click the initial functions pop up, but they go away and the game never loads up.
