Dawn of Magic 2 (G3D)
Dawn of Magic 1 is an extremely buggy game, so for example when crashing the game stores faulty profiles and game data that makes the game uncontiniuable. So its always a good idea before entering a new session in the second part as well to make a copy of the latest profile folder.
