    Fix for insta crash is edit the resolution entries in your dayz config file located in your ‘../documents/dayz’ folder.

    It’s still very buggy, no alt tabbing etc, and some video changes like aa, etc can cause crash.

    Inventory manipulation is still an issue, particularly right click – have to find the right spot to click.

    I tried to find the post I saw regarding dayz not working but couldn’t.

    hi!

    Also trying to get dayz sa started …
    had changed the resolution in the .cfg but it sitll crashes instant.
    Could you maybe post your .ini settings or upload your. ini file?
    Or did you any other changes?

    Thanks!

    can set

    winW=1920
    winH=1080

    I think arma reset those one it’s own as that was my old native res, but I did set them to 1920×1080 originally.

    I copied and pasted the values of this cfg and overwrote mine with a few exceptions:
    1) localVRAM
    2) nonlocalVRAM
    3) WinW and WinH set to 1920×1080

    And it worked perfect.

    As soon as I went into game options and disabled vsync it crashed to desktop.

    Made sure vsync was disabled and launched again and it worked great.
