Diablo 3 3D Support

Hey Guys,

I have an occulus rift & I also have virtual desktop app from the rift store. Im running an alienware pc with a 1070 video card. I’ve been playing d3 through my rift on my pc with good sucess. However I am not able to use the 3d functionality in virtual desktop.

I am looking into buying vorpx mostly for this reason, I do see direct x 11 support added in the notes. How is the 3d with diablo 3? Does anyone have any ingame footage I could watch on my rift to see what its like with 3d on? Is that possible? I am super new to using my rift outside of the rift default app.

There is no recent video I’m aware of showing the game with DX11, but like most games these days it has full Geometry 3D support, which means that everything is rendered twice from two different angles similar to how 3D works in native apps.

Just in case: vorpX does not alter the gameplay in any way. It’s still an isometric top-down game with vorpX and best played in cinema mode.
