i use full Vr mod, Z3D, the directVR works fine but as soon as i read a book and hit escape the fov reset like to something like 80 FoV, meaning everytime i read a book i have to empty cache and start directVR again to get a correct FoV back, it’s really annoying.
plus i noticed in full VR mode that npcs, and objects are all surrounded by some ghosting (not immersion breaking but would be nice if that could go away).
Sounds like the game changes the FOV memory address when reading books. I’ll take a look at it, but probably not much can be done to avoid a rescan when that happens. Might make sense to diable Direct VR caching, then you can simply hit ALT-L for a re-scan.
