Dishonored Crashing with vorpx

Hello to everyone! I can’t seem to get Dishonored to work properly. I can get it to load from steam just fine when Vorpx is not running, I can get it to load with Steam VR running (I am using a HTC Vive), it goes to theater mode, but vorpx not running. But if I have Vorpx running the game will not even load. I get a steam error message of:

Failed to start the game (unknown error).

I have narrowed it down to Vorpx running.

Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

Works very well for me (one of the best games), just telling you this so that you know there should be a solution (can’t help you with that, unfortunately).

Yeah, I have read that it works, and I am really excited to get it working, but for some reason, it just doesn’t want to load while vorpx is running, which defeats the whole purpose of me trying to use it with my vive. lol

I am hoping that some has some hints, tricks, ideas, solutions) to the issue. Thanks! :)

Hi,
In steam right click on your game , go to properties and untick “use desktop game theater…”
