    Hey Guys,
This was just released recently, but has anyone had any success getting it to work? Or is there any news on it yet? I just purchased VorpX and am not sure how long it usually takes for games to receive official profiles, or why some games get them and others don’t.

It should get a profile, it’s a very popular title (aside from the controversies, which actually might help promote it). Meanwhile you could try the Inquisition profile – i’m curious if it would work out of the box, it’s the same game engine.

I managed to launch the game with vorpX and also with working depth.
    It’s easy :
    1. launch vorpX configuration
    2. download the cloud profile “Mad Max – G3D (Rift) [dellrifter22]”
    3. in local profile, select the Mad Max profile and click on the button “Create a new profile based on this one”
    4. name you new profile (ie: Dragon Age The Veilguard)
    5. then on the Dragon age profile, click on “Add File” and go select the game “Dragon Age The Veilguard.exe” in your game directory

done – launch the game – enjoy
run perfectly on my computer (already 11h on it on vorpX).

    Notes :
    – game can make 2min+ to launch, don’t panic
    – i recommend to launch the game, at least once without vorpX, because the first shaders can take 10min+, and you don’t want to wait that long in the vorpX launcher

    Mate!!
Thank you so much for this. Super excited to try it! So you are saying it has the proper 3d where it renders the scene twice? I played dragon age inquisition and it didn’t do that, still enjoyed it though. First game I have used vorpx for.

I actually just use it for stereo 3d on my projector. I have a quest 3 but find the experience better on the projector.

    Thanks again mate

yes it looks like the 3D depth effect is embedded into the profile, you can’t disable or make it stronger, but it’s there.

I’m having trouble getting the game to hook. I have disabled all anti virus and closed every application in the system tray. I have that new nvidia app which has an overlay though. That may be the issue, is the only way to get around that to remove the app completely?

Red Dead Redemption 2 profile works pretty well in Z3d, you can really push the 3d but the more you do the more ghosting you get if you can live with that.

I’m still struggling to get it to hook. I will give that profile a try to if I can get it to work thank you

    Hi,
Mad Max – G3D (Rift) [dellrifter22] and Red Ded Redemption profile don’t work. You can hook but there no depth in the picture on a 3D screen (TV 3D SBS).
Perhabs it is ok in VR but i use TV3D.

I try also dragon age inquisition because it used also Frosbite engine, but i can’t hook in this case.

    @mumblebadger
: i encontered also issues to hook, and uncheck the case “try to block known game overlays”, i also press ctrl alt shift on the overlay vorpx message and it works, but unfortunately, no 3D !!!… the image is sadly flat…

We will have to wait profiles…

Note : I try also Reshade with superdepth but the game crash. I have normally very good results with reshade (3D is very good in hodward legacy, assassin’s creed, ghost of tsuschima…)…
    Wait and see…

    Hey,
I actually did get it to hook with the red dead profile mentioned above. To get it to hook I had to force close a whole bunch of applications running in the back ground. I think closing armoury crate (Some asus ROG program) is what got it to work, I use it on a 3d projector too (not a VR headset) it does have depth. Just make sure to press delete and change it to Z3d
    Hopefully it works for you!

Hmm, the “Mad Max – G3D (Rift) [dellrifter22]” profile doesn’t work for me, as vorpx will not hook whatsover. The Red Dead Redemption one hooks but causes a crash as soon as it loads into the game. However, from what I’ve seen inside my headset (as the game freezes before it crashes) the 3D effect with Z3D was VERY insignificant at best, so not worth the loss of performance and comfort (Q2 + 3rd party strap is not really comfy).

I hope there will be an official (and working) profile soon for this game.

The Z3d from the read dead profile is better than the 3d from dragon age inquisition (just finished it before starting this game)
However, yeah not worth putting on a vr headset for. Works well on a 3d projector though

I don’t have this game myself, but I would suggest you try a profile based off of Resident Evil Village. It has a high compatibility rate across dx12 games I have tested, and the strongest base Z3D.

Sometimes it requires that you use an upscale method like DLSS/FSR for the Z3D to work with this profile, so experiment with the different AA modes if 3D is not recognized immediately.
