If you suspect any changes you made to your PC affect the performance/functionality of vorpX, the best action is reverting those changes to see whether that makes a difference. If you happen to have the Windows system restore functionality enabled (unfortunately it’s disabled per default on Windows 10), simply go back to a restore point from before the issue started to occur.
Please also check whether the games you refer to actually have DirectVR FOV support. If so, you can adjust it on the DirectVR page of the vorpX menu should you feel it doesn’t meet your expectations.
Direct VR FOV however is precisely matched to the FOV of your headset, so the likelihood of an FOV set by DirectVR being wrong is rather slim.
If a game does not have DirectVR FOV support, you can either adjust it manually like in the old days or play in immersive screen mode. The options you have in regard to adjusting FOV manually for games without DirectVR FOV are listed in the “Essential Hints Guide” in the vorpX help.
